Powerborne Heroes

Powerborne is a Palladium-based superhero addon for Minecraft 1.20.1. Become Marvel and DC characters by exploring the world and completing each hero's unique path. Progress through skill trees to unlock new abilities and suit variants.

The mod is unfinished! More heroes and features will come in the future.

Features

• Unique abilities — Each hero has a distinct ability set. Open the power screen to read descriptions in your skill tree.
• Skill trees & XP — Earn XP through combat and using your powers, level up and unlock new abilities.
• Suit variants — Customize your look with multiple cosmetic options per hero. Display suits on armor stands and switch between variants.
• World exploration — Explore the world to find structures with loot.
• Companions — Summon Krypto the Super-Dog with the Kryptonian Whistle.

Sentry

To become Sentry you need to:

1. Brew the Golden Sentry Serum by combining an Awkward Potion with an Enchanted Golden Apple in a Brewing Stand. Drink it to get the Unstable Radiance effect.
2. Craft a Beacon and build a pyramid of at least 3 levels and set its primary effect to Solar Ascension.
   
   
3. The ritual starts when you have both Unstable Radiance and Solar Ascension active. You'll be pulled toward the beacon and ascend. After, you'll receive the Sentry Suit.

To become The Void you need to complete Sentry's skill tree. Reach full Void Corruption by taking damage, killing mobs, or staying in darkness for a long time.

Superman

To become Superman you need to:

1. Find a Crashed Kryptonian Pod. They generate in most biomes. Loot it to get Sunstone Shards and Kryptonite Shards (you may also find a Kryptonian Whistle for summoning Krypto).
   
   
2. Craft the Kryptonian Sun Totem by combining 4 Sunstone Shards, 2 Kryptonite Shards, 2 Gold Ingots, and a Totem of Undying in a crafting table.
   
   
3. Charge the Totem by holding it in your hand during the day while under open sky. It absorbs solar energy over time.
4. Once charged, right-click with the Sun Totem to become Superman.

Thor

To become the God of Thunder you need to:

1. Find Mjolnir's Crash Site. A rare structure that generates in most biomes. It contains Mjolnir in the middle and some Uru scattered around.
   
   
2. Mjolnir cannot be lifted by the unworthy. You must complete the 2 advancements to become worthy:
   • Monster Slayer — Kill 200 hostile mobs
   • Hero of the Village — Successfully defend a village from a raid
3. Lift Mjolnir by right-clicking it or crouching on it to pick it up. You'll receive the Thor Suit and the God of Thunder power.

Suit Variants

Each hero has multiple suit variants inspired by comics, movies, and animated series. They change your appearance while wearing your hero suit and do not affect abilities. Equip them through the Palladium accessories menu.

Suit Scrolls unlock random accessories. Right-click with a scroll to unlock it permanently. Scrolls can drop from certain hostile mobs or be purchased from the Wandering Trader.

/powerborne set_property <player> <property> <value> — Sets a hero property (e.g. energy bars, XP, levels)

Example: /powerborne set_property @s energy_bar_void 200

/powerborne add_xp <player> <hero> <amount> — Adds or removes XP for a hero

Example: /powerborne add_xp @s thor 1000

/powerborne remove_all_accessories <player> — Removes all unlocked accessories from a player

Example: /powerborne remove_all_accessories @s

/ability <lock/unlock> <player> <powerId> <ability> — Locks/unlocks abilities which have the ability to be bought

Example: /ability unlock @s powerborne:superman all

/advancement grant @s from powerborne:worthiness/worthiness — Become worthy
