🥛 MILK POTION
"It's milk, but in a potion."
(Or: How I Spent 4.5 Hours Drawing a Pixel Art Icon)
Look, we've all been there. You're raiding an Ocean Monument, trying to mine gold, and boom—Mining Fatigue III. Or maybe a witch decides to turn your health bar into a confusing rainbow of sadness.
What are your options?
- Wait it out (Boring).
- Drink a bucket of milk.
But let’s be real… buckets are limited. A bucket of milk removes effects for that specific instance. You drink it, you're clean. Then the Elder Guardian looks at you and gives you Mining Fatigue again 5 seconds later.
The Milk Potion gives you the effect for 3 minutes. That is 3 minutes of active immunity. Continuous cleansing. It's primitive to rely on buckets. We have technology! We have brewing stands!
🕰️ The "Development Process"
I spent about 6 hours making this mod. "Wow mod dev, you work so hard!" you might say.
No, listen. 4.5 of those hours were spent drawing the status effect icon. I’m a programmer, not an artist, okay? I stared at that 18x18 grid until my soul left my body. But hey, look at it! It's… surely something tho. =.=
🍺 How to Use (It Works Like Magic)
Put down the buckets.
- Grab an Awkward Potion.
- Shove a Milk Bucket into the Brewing Stand. (Don't ask how the metal bucket fits inside the glass bottle stand. It just does. It's Minecraft).
- Result: The Milk Potion (3:00 Duration).
⚔️ Wait, It's Actually a Weapon?
This isn't just a cleanse; it's a tactical nuke for potion effects. Since you can turn this into Splash Potions and Tipped Arrows, you can ruin people's day:
- The "No U": Your friend eats a God Apple? Splash them. BAM. Regen gone. Resistance gone.
- The Pursuit Breaker: Enemy chugging Speed II to run away? Shot them with a custom Milk Arrow. Now they're just… walking. * The Panic Button: Wither effect killing you? Splash yourself! You're cured!
⚖️ The "Catch" (Yes, It's Balanced)
"Isn't this broken?" Nope. Because Milk Potion doesn't care whose side the effects are on.
While the effect is active, it purges EVERYTHING.
- Wither? Gone.
- Poison? Deleted.
- Your Strength II potion you just drank? Wasted.
- Your Night Vision? Lights out.
It’s the ultimate trade-off. You become immune to debuffs, but you forfeit your own buffs. Use it responsibly. Or don't. I'm a mod description, not a cop.
