Welcome to the world of Gravestone Dungeons

This data pack is a passion project, fulfilling a vision I’ve had for years of what Minecraft could be. Drawing inspiration from beloved games like Skyrim, The Witcher Series, Elden Ring, The Bard’s Tale and the Stronghold series, this pack enhances the base game with countless features that feel immersive and organic to the Minecraft experience.

Explore dozens of friendly and hostile dungeons, ranging from small, biome-specific variants to massive, max-sized structures that include epic boss battles in custom arenas. These dungeons are teeming with spawners that summon custom mobs, as well as loot chests, barrels, and pots filled with a mix of vanilla treasures and exclusive items from this data pack.

Unleash the power of custom items, including weapons, tools, and armor with unique attributes. Harness spells to defeat enemies or teleport to saved locations, and equip custom saddles and armor to enhance your tamed horses. A custom currency system enables trading with new merchants and traders.

Upgrade your tools, weapons,armor, saddles and horse armor through a reinforcement system that grants powerful attributes granting a large boost to attributes.

Master various forms of magic, including magical scrolls, enchanted weapon abilities, and (coming in "fill in date ^^") ritualistic magic. These abilities use a magicka system, complete with its own regenerating bar, to let you teleport, cast attack spells, and more.

Make use of the new alchemy skill tree, to unlock recipes for new potions, increase their effects and craft new items.

Seek out powerful gear sets in all dimensions, hidden deep within dungeons and fiercely guarded by mobs. These sets transform you into a formidable force, whether facing mobs or players.

In the Nether, discover mystical horses with extraordinary abilities such as running over lava, walking on water, or healing their rider in combat.

This pack also introduces dozens of enchantments, ranging from farming aids like cultivation to devastating combat effects for PvE and PvP. Unleash enchantments that deal massive area damage, disable enemy attacks, or give you a tactical edge over foes—including friends!

Expand your arsenal with new arrow variants, like Ender Arrows, Freezing Arrows, true Fire Arrows, or arrows that temporarily turn enemies into companions. Most are craftable and add fresh strategy to ranged combat.

If you’re adventuring alone, summon a companion to assist you. These loyal allies will fight by your side, heal you, or simply amuse you with their interactions.

I’ve designed this pack to feel natural within Minecraft's world. You don’t have to use these features or items if you don’t want to—but the option is always there! Structures generate frequently enough to feel engaging, but the larger they are, the farther apart they’ll be. Travel becomes a breeze with 12 pre-set horse breeds available from traders and saddles that provide buffs like speed, jump boosts, or resistance.

Even NPCs aren’t just for trading—they’ll interact with you, share hints about hidden treasures, or make you laugh. For example, the Bard NPC sells custom, data-driven music discs with medieval-themed music included in the resource pack.

This project is my labor of love, crafted with immense time, effort, and passion to bring it to life. There’s far more here than I could ever fully capture in this description, and even more exciting features planned for the future.

Installation data pack: To install the data pack, just put the zip into the datapackfolder of your world. Then start the world and if needed run the /reload command to activate if not already. If it still doesn't work, extract the zip folder into the datapack folder and do the same.

Installation resource pack: To install the resource pack, just put the zip into the resource pack folder and put it on the first place. If it still doesn't work, extract the zip folder into the resource pack folder and do the same.

The Gravestone Dungeons Resource Pack Add-on (extra download page) adds music and textures for all added items, to immerse gameplay and is required for playing the mod.
