🐉 Free the End for All
Tired of one person getting all the glory (and XP) during the dragon fight?
In vanilla Minecraft, the "Free the End" advancement is usually only granted to the player who deals the final blow or is closest to the Ender Dragon. On multiplayer servers (SMPs), this often feels unfair to the rest of the team who helped with crystals and damage.
✨ Features
Shared Victory: Automatically grants the Free the End advancement to every player currently in the End dimension when the dragon dies.
XP Distribution: Ensures that the milestone experience points are awarded to the entire party, not just the "last-hitter."
Multiplayer Optimized: Perfect for small friend groups or large SMPs to prevent "advancement sniping."
Zero Lag: Built using efficient predicates and functions to ensure it won't impact your server's TPS.
🛠️ How it Works
The datapack monitors the Ender Dragon's death event. Once the dragon is defeated, it instantly runs a check for all players within the minecraft:the_end dimension and grants the advancement to anyone who hasn't achieved it yet.
🚀 Installation
Download the .zip file.
Navigate to your Minecraft world folder.
Open the datapacks folder.
Drop the .zip file inside.
If the server is already running, type /reload in-game.
📜 Compatibility
Versions: Minecraft 1.20.x, 1.21, and above.
Mod Loaders: Works with Vanilla, Fabric, Quilt, Forge, and NeoForge.
Other Packs: Compatible with most world-gen and dragon-buffing datapacks.
