During the Three Kingdoms Period, Zhou Yu was very jealous of Zhuge Liang's talent, so he troubled him by demanding 100,000 arrows within only three days. it was impossible to make such amounts of arrows in such a short time.
But Zhuge Liang calculated precisely and foresaw a heavy foggy day. He took several boats strung with straw figures, and sailed them close to Cao Cao's camp. Being a suspicious man by nature, Cao Cao ordered his soldiers to shoot arrows, and all the arrows stuck straight into the straw figures.
In the end, Zhuge Liang fulfilled the mission of impossible and Zhou Yu's scheme against him failed.
