END UPDATE: Ryūgū (The End) is gonna have numerous changes to make it feel more alive (more than Mojang could ever lmao)
- New Mob: Umi nyōbō. High damage melee/ranged hybrid enemies equipped with diamond naginatas, and also adapt the blocking system that the enemy ronin/samurai/goryo have.
- New Mob: Ningyo, a mermaid mob that spawns in high numbers and are faster version of Kojin/Kappa/Drowned. Nothing much, just needed a simple common hostile mob in the End
- New Coral Trees.
- Akugyo will be much more aggressive now and will make you think twice before entering the water.
- She also breathes fire now.
- New Temple structure
- The tall "sea lanterns" you see everywhere have been replaced by very tall and thin pagodas. (They'll be empty too, theyre just decor)
- The mobs above will have a great amount of health and damage, fitting for a late-game area. I myself have hardly tested it. I also made the pink brain coral orange cup coral instead.
NEW BIOMES:
- Ginkgo Grove
- Spider Lily Fields
- Surprise Lily Fields
- Kerria Fields, Spawning in summer climates. Inspired by the opening flower fields in Ghost of Yotei
- Rose Fields, Spawning in autumn climates. Inspired by a location in Ghost of Tsushima
- The current Hotsprings biome (eroded_badlands), Snowy Dark Forest (deep_frozen_ocean), and Snowy Forest (frozen_ocean) are now their own separate biomes to avoid hardcoded icebergs and Bryce Canyon formations.
- Autumnal Hotsprings
- Snowy Hot Springs
- Vernal Hotsprings
Other:
- Ginkgo, Maple leaves, and saplings
- Straw Capes, Straw Hats, and Sando Hats have black/white variants.
- Proper CEM Animations (FreshAnimations style) for Villagers, Red Crowned Crane, Yamauba and Yuki-Onna
- Village heightmap placements through lithostiched have been adjusted so it's less strict depending on the size of the structure (This may make micro villages way more common than they should be, will look into it if it becomes an issue)
-New stone lanterns separated by stone type.
- Cobblestone Lantern
- Mossy Cobblestone Lantern
- Cobbled Deepslate Lantern
- Stone Brick Lantern
- Mossy Stone Brick Lantern
- Shikkui blocks for each wood type, so it's no longer limited to Shirasu Kabe
- Added a brief delay to stealth expiration when exiting tall grass, so stepping down a block doesn't reveal you
- Added built-in step height attributes to any boot items that grant you extra jump strenght so stepping up one block doesn't take twice as long as it should
- Upgraded the Sakura Temples to actually have housing extending from the temple
- Added Knockback Resistance to Onikuma
- Tree variants added to the Birch Forest and Autumnal Forest
- Partial Language Support for the following Languages;
- Russian translation provided by Иосиф XXIV Созидун
- Chinese translation provided by Calmlyplayingdumb
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed Reeds Duplication Glitch
- Fixed Shinobi Music bug where it would stop playing when there was a block between you and the shinobi.
- Villagers now properly avoid and run from Ronin, Bandits, Sarugami, etc
- Villagers now don't talk as much.
- Reduced Crow spawns in the Burnt Plains to reduce lag.
- Clan Samurai Patrols now no longer spawn within a few chunks of your spawn point to prevent loitering.
- Bandits still will bc thats their job lmao.
- Samurai Dueling Mobs no longer do feint attacks.
