Updated to support the latest version of Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks (1.20.1-3.15.0)
- Deprecated some of the fluids from this mod in favor of the fluids added by Iron's Spellbooks in the recent update, most notably Ink and Blood. The CC versions of these fluids should be easily converted into the ISS fluids.
- Adjusted Blood Essence recipe to now include Blood from ISS as a possible ingredient.
- Molten Arcane Salvage now casts into Mithril Ingots/Nuggets
- Entity Melting recipes for new mobs:
- Ice Spider -> Ice Venom
- Tyros, The First Flamebearer -> Molten Pyrium
New Materials:
- Mithril
- On Melee/Ranged weapons, has a chance to restore Mana on successful melee/projectile hits.
- On Harvest tools, has a chance to restore Mana when mining blocks.
- On armor, consumes Mana on hit to reduce incoming damage.
- On Wands/Spellbooks, grants +80 Max Mana
- Pyrium
- On Melee/Ranged weapons, has a chance to apply Immolation stacks to the target; reaching 3 Immolation stacks releases a fiery explosion.
- On Wands/Spellbooks, grants Fire Specialization, which buffs Fire Spell Power but nerfs everything else.
- Bloody Vellum
- On Spellbooks, consumes health when summoning mobs to boost their damage.
Addon Compat Changes:
- Now has compat with the Sound school of magic added by Alshanex's Familiars.
- Adjusted Technomancy Essense (Cataclysm Spellbooks compat) to make room for Sound Essence recipe.
- All Addon Compat magic upgrades now support Affinity recipes to reach level 5.
Miscellaneous Additions and Tweaks:
- Added Storage Blocks and Nuggets for Arcanium, Exilite, Mithril, and Pyrium.
- Blocks work as Beacon base materials.
- Added modifier textures for the Battlestaff
- Probably won't do this for the other tools, unless someone asks nicely
- Added a couple of melting recipes for items from ISS, including Portal Frames and Weapon Parts.
- Magic Upgrade recipes now take into account the levels added by material traits (most notably on Wands/Spellbooks), so as to avoid 7 levels of Fire Upgrade on a single wand.
- Made most of the magic-related upgrades (Spell power upgrades, cooldown upgrades, etc.) only apply on the main hand/armor to be in line with ISS balancing.
- Reworked Swiftcasting.
- Now is an upgrade for Boots instead of a staff ability, to thematically align with the Boots of Swiftness from ISS.
- 3 levels max, first level requires an Ability slot.
- Changed recipe to be closer to that of the Boots of Swiftness.
- Improved Encyclopedia entries for the mod's modifiers and tools.
- Should include max level and slots consumed on the pages.
- All Spell Power upgrades are now condensed into one "Elemental Magic Upgrade" page, should help declutter the General tab.
- Include some previously-uncommunicated tips to load Spell Slots/Imbue slots on tools.
- Moved the mod's tools to different categories and improved their description pages.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed certain Faceted Gem materials being uncraftable.
- Some are made in the part builders, others are made with a casting table.
- Fixed magic modifiers not returning modifier slots when removed via Modifier Worktable.
- Fixed book "Upgrades" tab being blank without compat addons.
- Added missing lang entries for Spellblade modifier and Rainbowslime material.
- Fixed mod tool parts not showing in JEI.
- Fixed issues with custom Spellbook rendering, most notably the inverted lighting.
